How Women Rise: Building genuine relationships, overcoming perfectionism and embracing one's achievements.

The French Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Eloge Consulting, hosted an inspiring Women in Business Event . The event themed "How Women Rise," was opened by a keynote speech from French Chamber director Laure Paugam who shared her career journey and successes.

This was followed by a keynote address by Viviane Odoh Mike-Eze, Founder and CEO of Eloge Consulting, during her keynote speech, she discussed 12 Habits that hold Women Back. This stirred conversations in the audience around building genuine relationships, overcoming perfectionism, and embracing one's achievements.

The event also included a dynamic panel discussion with influential women leaders from various industries, who shared their journeys, challenges, and success stories. 

  • Raju Patel, Founder, Orchidoholics254 inspired us with her career transition to blogging, emphasizing the power of supportive networks.
  • Constance Fromont, Managing Director, Roots Institute Centre shared her career journey that has enabled young under privileged children to get access to quality education.
  • Caroline Englund, Founder and Managing Partner, at Empactive Solutions spoke on pushing through self-limiting beliefs.
  • Caroline Muturi, Human Resources Director, L’Oréal East Africa encouraged women to boldly claim their achievements. 
  • Nancy Muhoya, Managing Partner, EY East Africa highlighted the value of being intentional and remaining visible in your work space.

The Q&A session brought out candid discussions, with advice on taking risks, actively seeking opportunities, and surrounding oneself with a "tribe" of support. The event wrapped up with a lively networking session at the poolside rooftop, fostering connections and helping women unlock their full potential.
