Webinar: An overview of power and water in East Africa : key figures, challenges and opportunities.

During the webinar; Mathieu Ecoiffier, Regional Counsellor for Sustainable Development East Africa and the Indian Ocean region at the French Treasury and Claire Fisnot, Attachée for Sustainable Development at the French Treasury gave an overview and present key figures of the electricity and water sectors in the region : electrification rates, access to water and sanitation, renewable resources, energy mix, institutional  organization, among others. The presentation also covered the most pressing challenges and main opportunities for French companies through public procurement, private investment and public private partnerships.
