Press Conference: Plastic Odyssey x AGL
Today, we joined the Plastic Odyssey press conference hosted at Africa Global Logistics office garden and walked away deeply inspired and challenged to act.
The event was kicked off by Jason Reynard, Regional Manging Director, EA, Africa Global Logistics who then invited Simon BERNARD, CEO and Co-Founder Plastic Odyssey for the presentation.
Plastic Odyssey is more than a project, it is a movement. A reminder that plastic waste knows no borders, but neither does human ingenuity.
20 tonnes of plastic enter our oceans every minute.
20% of marine pollution comes from logistics and we cannot ignore this.
Logistics must be part of the solution, not the problem.
From reduction in our own warehouses to collaboration with global entrepreneurs, the call was clear: Sustainability must be built into everything we do.
Plastic Odyssey is proving that innovation and collaboration are the future. We have to be responsible. We have to act. And we have to act now.
Let’s be the generation that doesn’t just talk sustainability but builds it into every link of the supply chain.
