Today’s breakfast meeting, hosted by the French Embassy in Kenya, brought together key stakeholders to discuss practical and collaborative solutions to plastic pollution under the theme “Beyond Plastic: Concrete Solutions in Plastic Pollution.”
The conversation highlighted the urgent need for innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and community-driven approaches to tackle the growing plastic crisis. From youth-led micro-factories and creative reuse initiatives to renewable energy in logistics, it’s clear that local solutions can drive global impact.
The event reinforced that moving beyond plastic requires shared responsibility, inclusive value chains, and long-term commitment.
