Breakfast with PS Kevit Desai: Overview of Doing Business in East Africa

On Monday 4th July we held a breakfast meeting with PS Kevit Desai on Doing Business in the East African Community: Overview of Reforms, New Developments, Opportunities and Challenges. In his address, PS Desai explained the importance of the regional block and is value to Africa's growing economy. He also poke of the existing parameters within the EAC that enable member sates to trade and grow their business beyond borders such as the common external tariff (CET) and the one stop border post among others.
