2024 Annual General Meeting & Cocktail
Celebrating the French Chamber's Achievements in 2023!
Today, we successfully held our 2024 AGM and Members Cocktail at Fairmont The Norfolk! Despite earlier uncertainties, we gathered to celebrate the French Chamber of Commerce Kenya's achievements over the past year.
H.E. Arnaud Suquet, French Ambassador to Kenya and Mr. Jérôme Baconin, Head of the Regional French Economic Department graced our meeting and shared their valuable insights, showcasing their optimism about the private sector's role in economic growth and how our collaborative CSR initiatives will continue to address societal issues.
Mr. Frank Mwiti, CEO of the Nairobi Securities Exchange PLC, highlighted capital market opportunities and challenges, noting a significant erosion of investor confidence in Kenya that needs rebuilding.
Our President Mr. Othmane CHAOUI and Executive Director, Laure Paugam also shared our 2023 milestones and gave a glimpse of what to expect in the coming year.
Mr. Joseph Kinuthia, Audit Manage at Forvis Mazars in Kenya presented our 2023 Financial Report to our members.
The event was followed by a vibrant networking cocktail, fostering valuable connections and future collaborations!
A huge thank you to our Board of Directors for their continued support and collaboration throughout they year and to our hosts as well as all our members who attended and made this event a success. We look forward to another year of growth and achievement!
