Fireside chat with the new French ambassador and networking cocktail
On Thursday, we had the pleasure to host a fireside chat with our new French ambassador and a networking cocktail in partnership with our member National Bank of Kenya.
The fireside chat was moderated by Sylvia Macharia Mwai, head of institutional banking at National Bank of Kenya, who warmly welcomed our new French Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Mr. Wadid Benaabou. During the discussion, the Ambassador outlined his commitment to building on the momentum of the Africa Forward Summit with humble, measured goals in service of the Franco-Kenyan business community. He expressed a strong desire to travel across Kenya to engage directly with people and local companies, while praising the country's vibrant creativity and spirit of innovation.
This special gathering brought together our members and partners to:
Welcome and connect with the new French Ambassador to Kenya.
Build and strengthen professional networks across industries.
Explore new bilateral business and collaboration opportunities within our community.
The conversation was followed by a convivial networking cocktail, giving guests the opportunity to reconnect and discuss new opportunities.
We extend our sincere appreciation to National Bank of Kenya for partnering with us, and to all our members and partners who joined us to make this evening a success.
